There was a shot abt halfway through the round that bothered him. Before Maciel turned the heat up Pirog was pawing at his nose. His nose was probably hurting like a mother****er and it distracted him.

Very true but you get the odd underlooked one and this Maciel seems to have some skills.

Argentine fighters have pulled off upsets in the past.

Pirog looks kinda bad, his punches have no power, his defense isn't very good, and he isn't throwing enough.

Pirog landing much harder shots on Maciel now (maybe the body shot woke him up).. Landed a strong right hand that seemed to have Maciel stunned for a second. Round goes to Pirog.
