Didn't like the vibe off him at all.

    They underestimated Molina.
    1) I think so too. But...

    2) What if they don't have the sack to contradict this big ego kid? Maybe they let him implode out of cowardice?

not sure how Lara is "Overrated" when he never was "Rated", I might be the only guy on this board that even talks about Lara

he has a Off Night...get him a Rematch and he destroys Molina...but all this is expected form this forum after every fight people either OVERRATE a fighter or they Underrate a fighter

Lara beat himself IMO, if he did what he done in rounds 8, 9 and 10, then it would have been a EASY FIGHT for him

as for "INSIDE FIGHTING"...NONE OF THESE CURRENT FIGHTERS HAVE GOOD INSIDE FIGHTING, only guys that are good inside is Juan Manuel Marquez, Ward, Hopkins and Glen Johnson, most of these guys AVOID fighting inside all together

Lara will learn from that match I am sure and yes I though Molina won as well

All cubans do its entrenched within them,it takes a lot of work to switch to the pros, but if some of these guys lead by Casamayors example they will have many great pro as well as amateur fighters, problem is most are like Solis as soon as they experience our freedom thats enough.

I love it when someone digs up these old threads. As it turns out, Carlos Molina is indeed a solid fighter (as I knew he was), and Erislandy Lara took him lightly in their meeting. Lara should've lost that fight on the cards, but also should've outclassed Molina. Tonight Erislandy showed what he can do in a big step up against a fading P. Will.

I don't remember this thread, but calling Lara an exposed fighter based on having trouble with Carlos Molina is really dumb.

lol.. anytime a fighter has a less than spectacular performace hes a hypejob and got exposed, then fools wonder why promoters look to protect their fighters reputation.. clowns..

lara had an off night, i think he had fallen in love with his power and underestimated molina. he spent all night looking for the uppercut, molina realized that and took advantage.

molina isnt a bad fighter anyways so theres no shame in having a draw with him, no shame in losing to him either. molina is solid, he can beat good fighters and those same fighters can come back and achieve good things in the future which is exactly what lara did.
