Lara was just way overhyped, and he kinda looks small for 154. I'd pick only Gamboa out of all the Cuban boxers right now to have a great career. Lara, Rigondeaux, Solis and rest of the guys all boring.

disagreeing with the Guru of Boxing is a big no, no. You could get hung in some places for **** like that. Lol, jk. Carry on with your debate. Your making some good points.

We will have to agree to disagree. I think Tyner is best Alvarez has fought so far and I don't think he's better or tougher than Molina is.

Lara would out point him by an 8-4, 9-3 type of margin.

Just because, Gamboa is more exciting doesn't necessary makes him better.

I think Alvarez would outpoint him to a 9-3 type of margin, Lara is far to inactive and Alvarez is quite active with his combos. He would unload to the body quite often and would tire Lars out. Towards the late rounds I can see Alvarez swarming Lara with body/head combos to impress the judges and earn a decision.

How do you think an Angulo/Lara fight would play out?

Lara is better than that. his promoter or whoever kinda failed him imo because he takes the right step in fighting gary brewer then they go backwards and feed him four complete bums in a row who he ko's all in the first round. that doesn't teach him anything he learns nothing. so tonight its like he was looking for that big punch instead of using strategy.

Lara looked one dimensional to me. He was throwing his uppercut over and over again even though it wasn't landing ****. And the way he threw his left was way too predictable and was looking for one shot.

I think Canelo would beat him in a clear UD.

                    This^^^

The Lara that fought tonight would probably get outpointed by Canelo.

                    But...Lara is better then this..

Did you hear his trainer before the fight? They where expecting a 1st rd KO.

Didn't like the vibe off him at all.

                    They underestimated Molina.

I'm not shocked that Lara beat Jhonson in the amateurs. Lara has a more amateur type style.
