Are you guys out of your minds? Vitali Klitschko is one of the most heavyhanded fighters in the history of the sport. Ask his opponents if he doesn't hit hard. He can knock you down with one shot & has done it on plenty of occasions. He ended Sosnowski & Solis with one punch. The demise of his power is greatly exagerrated. You DON'T obtain the highest knockout percentage in the history of the heavyweight division by being featherfisted. If Vitali hits you right..you're going down no matter who you are. Briggs got more of a massive beating than Sanders did & unoffically got tko'ed 4 times in there fight if the corner was doing there job. Vitali has ONLY failed to KO 5 fighters in his entire career. 2 because they were inmcomplete fights & he was injured & NOT 100% for the duration of the bouts. Briggs was Ko'ed for all intent purposes... KJ.. excelled in defense & didn't bring offense whatsoever because he was scared ****less of Vitali & Hoffman didn't get Ko'ed because this was the first bout after his shoulder injury to Bird..The 5 fighters who didn't get knockedout won a total of 4 rds tops. There has been no one stronger or more dominant than Vitali Klitschko in the history of the divison. He has dominated every opponent he's ever faced.. no one comes close to his destruction.
shut the **** up with this recycled bull****..viatli was stopped on cuts caused by a punch...just like you say solis was stopped assh0le
******ed comparison
Vitali dominated Lewis and scared him into retirement
Solis got knocked out by a punch, read my sig and watch these videos
Vitali Klitschko: "I was inside the ring and I saw many, many times on video - the fight, and there is only one clear answer. I prepared the punch, half uppercut/half hook. I prepared this punch and I feel that I hit him pretty hard. Solis was knocked out, what happened after that, where he breaks his ligaments or his knee - it's his problem. I'm sorry the fight was so short. The next fight, I promise not to hit my opponent for the first three rounds, and then I'll knock him out. With Solis there are no excuses, this was a knockout punch"
Honestly, his power was never one of the things that people truly credited him for. He was rated as a highly awkward, cagey, rangey fighter with a stunning jab and the ability to slow you down.
He gained stoppages due to his ability to outbox you and eventually wear you down with clubbing, but quicker-than-you'd-expect shots. He doesn't really even have many fights that end in one shot or in fast fashion. He's a very solid puncher, but nothing thunderours.

Trust me..you do not want to be hit by him & neither do all of his opponents. The fact that he doesn't even put full force behind most of his shots & gets the results he does should tell everyone what type of power he has & is capable of. He KO'S you with essentially arm punches for crying out loud. He used to commit more....... now in his second career he rarely throws that pulverizing right hand like he used to. Regardless..you can't argue with the results. He mostly hurts you over time now but is capable of clocking you just right as well.

That's subjective. Regardless, I wasn't saying he wasn't a hard puncher. What I was saying was that he isn't known as some sort of knockout artist. He's a solid puncher and that's fine.
He has heavy hands, but isn't explosive with his power like a Tyson, Lewis, or even his brother. He also doesn't really load up on shots, as he likes to accumulate damage gradually by landing often and having a solid workrate.
If for instance, his brother landed those shots on Corrie Sanders that Vitali did, I doubt Sanders would've lasted until the 8th round, and been on his feet.

He most certainly is a knockout artist. Highest knockout % in heavyweight boxing history. Only heavyweight to knockout his first 27 opponents. If that's NOT a knockout artist... i don't know what is. He's more than just a solid puncher. I think you're vastly underestimating his power credentials. He's such a great boxer that he doesn't rely solely on his power & is not a one dimensional slugger. Trust me..there is no one in boxing history that has done more damage to his opponents than he has. All the numbers bare this out...his size..skills & strength is just secondary.
