Lara did not show enough to decisevly win this fight, thus the majority draw. Then again Molina did not want to exchange, but instead continuously tied Lara up and tried make Lara look non agressive. Not very impressive either. Lara needs to develop a jab and throw more combos to tangle with the top boys in this division in my opinion.:wank:

Lara got a lucky break. Could have had a loss if those judges didn't see that as a draw.

Lara definitely let his stock drop with that performance. I know Molina isn't someone not to over look, but Lara was hyped up to be the new big Cuban fighter. I was disappointed by his performance tonight. Hopefully Gamboa handles biz tomorrow, just sayin'...

learning experience for Lara....quit with the over-confidence and underestimating opponents. In a rematch Lara will win decisively.

I would like to see Lara fight Angulo, because Angulo fights. Molina is a guy that bull rushes avoiding exchanges trying to tie fighters. His fights tend to be close dissapointing fights due to his style.

On the ohterhand Lara needs to develop a jab and better right hook. If he would have utilized a jab, he would have dictated the fight and found his big punch. Poor stratery by his handlers.

Lara's a good fighter that lost to a better fighter tonight, in a rematch Molina won't be as rusty and win easy.

Nobody has Gamboa's hand quickness in boxing. His footwork and ring savy are another thing though.

Lopez must be shatting in his pants.

It always amazes me that some fighters don't come into the ring completely, for lack of a better word, focused. Lara didn't have that drive, that burning desire to win that he needed to overcome what was a lackluster performance. I know for me just hitting pads gets me competitive and locked in, I really do wonder sometimes how having another guy swinging at you can ever be a situation where you don't bring it all. In basketball when you underestimate an opponent maybe they go on a scoring run. In boxing you get hit, shouldn't take more than a shot or two to realize you've gotta handle business. Lara didn't handle business. Good for Molina though, way to not accept being a stepping stone.
