So Floyd is a coward, Yet Manny straight up ducked Juan Diaz?

Wow, you are really obtuse.
So since Pac has this one easy fight, even though all his other ones are good or great, this somehow validates Floyd only fighting easy fights post 2007???? This is such a bloody idiotic sentiment.
How does one easy fight that Pac is going to have with Shane somehow shield Floyd from the fact all his fights for the last 4 years are pathetic and too few? And that Spadafora presents a new low for Floyd and his ducking ways.
This is such a ******ed line of thinking, and it just shows how desperate Floyd fans are becoming in his defense that they will bring up every irrelevant excuse.
The point is if two people do the same thing, and you only criticize the guy you hate and not the guy you like, well then its you with the problem. So as far as being obtuse I will spell it out.
Reporters criticize certain players for shooting too much with a low percentage (like AI or Kobe). yet the SAME reporter mravels at Jimmer Freddette from BYU who shoots a lot with a low percentage.
When this happens its clear the reporter doesn't have a problem with shooting too much when you miss, he has a problem if CERTAIN people do it. That is what I feel yuou and many other pac fans do when you complain about floyd fighting bums but marvel when Manny does itLast edited by The Big Dunn; 03-25-2011, 01:43 PM.Comment

The only people who thought those fights were good on paper were Pac fans like yourself. If you are a true boxing fan you know that beating a bigger opponent that isn't as skilled is not that impressive. I could have used the same logic for Floyd ODH, but its not about defending floyd. BTW, Manny's odds vs clottey and Margs were significantly greater than floyd JMM or floyd Mosley. So while you think floyds were easier the bookmakers didn't. Again I ask, could you be wrong?
I am simply arguing that both men are doing the same thing, its just that you like manny so you see it differently.
Floyd and Manny are on 2 different levels the last 4 years. As for their resumes, they have ODH, HAtton, JMM, and Mosley (come may) in common. Does it matter that floyd beat 3 of them FIRST and beat JMM by a larger margin than Manny? Your "better" resume comes down to Cotto, except you would never hold it against Manny that he fought him at 145.
Posters like you always run with the "defend floyd" stuff because your arguments hold no water. I am not defending floyd. I am asking you why you don't hold manny to the same standard. Respectfully, "because he fights more often" is a BS excuse.
So if floyd fought 3 times a year he could fight guys who have no chance to beat him that would be ok for you? I highly doubt that.
Last four years obviously means post retirement in 2007. Thats been the whole argument. Jesus man, use your brain.
You've obviously not been reading my arguments as all your points have been refuted.
At the end of the day the only defense you idiots have is to compare him to Pacquiao. And justify Floyds choices by trying to draw an equivelency with his choices. And when I draw attention to it, you just ignore it and spout some vague repetitive nonsense.
I'm sure you're just a kid. Tis cool.Comment
