        wtf are u talking about?

nobody said fighters in general cant recover after a KO. SOMETIMES fighters cant recover, and it comes down to age and mental toughness.

its not really KOs anyways, its damage. a fighter takes more long term damage from a 12 round war then he does getting knocked out by a single punch. williams took more career shortening damage in his first fight with martinez then he did the second.

to say this is something floyd fans say is just silly. its common sense a fighter who takes alot of damage will sooner or later become damaged goods, not something just floyd fans say. and again, nobody said if a fighter gets knocked out hes damaged goods. if a fighter gets knocked out a bunch of times, or takes loads of punishment or is just plain old he can become damaged goods. but how many KOs, how much punishment and what age is individual.

williams will be back. yes it was a bad KO but hes young and he has the right state of mind to rebound from this.

also all the e-warriors posting KO pics and laughing should show more respect. all fighters are humanbeings and should be treated with a ceratin amount of respect rather then being kicked when they are down. the way he lost was bad enough idk why ppl want to take mans pride and laugh about it.

Well more than anything, I think it's safe to say that Paul Williams isn't looked at as the "Most Feared Fighter" the say the least. I think he still may have some good fights left in him, but that KO from Sergio could've done damage mentally for him. We'll see though.

PW was never any good. He built his reputation on good performances againsts Winky Wright it seems, and became known for challengeing 147lb guys to give him a shot.

there should be an amateur nsb that people get demoted to after making comments like that. like a triple a league. they'd have to actually work there way back in.
