Maidana didn't want that fight and wasn't motivated he had Khan on his mind, its not a excuse because he should have performed better but thats what Maidana's people told the press about the Corley fight.

This is a big fight for Maidana and he will be motivated, on PPV for the first time against a Legend, I'm sure if he wins he will gain a bigger fan base especially from the casual boxing fans and possibly another World Title shot.

Theres no doubt that Maidana was terrible against chop chop but that wasn't Maidana at his best he was out of shape, maidana at his best destroys this version of Morales.

I don't blame Morales for taking this fight he needs the money.

But i think Maidana deserves some stick for fighting Erik at this point, there is an abundance of talent at 140 for Maidana to test himself against but hes fighting a way past prime former legend i cant respect him for that.

Imagine how much the likes of Khan or Bradley would be criticized for fighting him. People where ripping Khan for fighting a past prime Barrera at 135lbs when khan was green and just 21/22 years old. Maidan is in his prime at his peak and he's taking on a washed up Erik shame on him.

He will get slated for the fight bigtime,should the predictable happen which would be an early KO win for Maidana.

Maidana should KO Morales but I bet El Terrible shows just how terrible a fighter Marcos is (in case people haven't noticed already). Guy is just way overrated on here.
