All three of them were actually contacted by Golden Boy, on behalf of Mayweather, when the Pacquiao fight fell apart. When Mosley became free, they went with him but all three of those guys were legit considerations.

Yeah, I remember Matthew Hatton, his trainer, and lawyer all confirming that Mayweather's people had contacted them several times about staging a fight. Just because it didn't push through (thanks to an Earthquake), doesn't mean it wasn't a serious consideration. This is just business as usual, but maybe there will be a natural disaster in the Philippines or Argentina that will end this nonsense.

Hey.... Atleast Spadafora gave Floyd some problems in sparring and is undefeated (joking). But still, cant remember for the life of me when was the last time Pac took an "0" from any fighter? Seriously though. I don't see this fight happening and if it does then it shouldn't. I'd much rather see Floyd fight Andre Berto. Spadafora ain't done **** in the sport BUT in the same breath if he can land a big money fight like that then more power to him.
