Tune Ups Are Not PPV Fights

No fighter/promotional company should ever make a tune a PPV fight. Fights like Pacquiao/Clottey and Marquez/Mayweather have no business being on pay per view. When they try to sell sparring sessions to consumers like this, its nothing more than a mere con. All it does is hurt the sport.

They market the fight as competitive and dangerous to favored fighter. That in its self is a scam and when it turns out the way it does, a domination, the consumer is left with a feeling of dismantlement. That was the case for Clottey/Pacquiao and Marquez/Mayweather.

It doesnt matter how hard you deepthroat your favorite fighter, if you're a true fan of the sport, this is something you don't tolerate.

I feel you brother but unfortunately I ordered all of these because these are the only fights my buddies got excited for.

'tune-ups' nowadays are a joke. Theyre PPV attractions, title defenses, and oh yea, you wont fight again for months.

tune ups dont actually exist nowadays once youre on the big level. theyre just excuses so that you can fight bums.

What the hell are you on about?

              When Mayweather/Marquez happened, Marquez was thep4p #2 (Max Kellerman's #1)

There were very few fights that could be made as big as Floyd against Marquez, it's not Floyd's fault Marquez called him out then couldn't deliver the goods.

Your logic is as credible as this girl's attempt at making respectable music.

You think HBO would put up $25 mil or any of these fights?

If it makes $, it belongs on PPV

No because they care about their profit margin, not the longevity of the sport as a mainstream attraction.
