Pacquiao and Arum have said a lot of things but sign contracts quick to fighter other fighters and have yet signed a contract to fight Mayweather. If they "agreed" to take the test we would have already had a fight. My point in posting this is to show those abroad, that the issue of Peds is a lot greater than a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight in the sports community in the U.S. So does Billionaire NFL owner wanting better test i.e blood testing make them *****s too?

Here's the issue: The Olympic style drug testing was written into the contract which Arum did not take offense with UNTIL Mayweather refused to budge on the cut-off dates. If the additional tests were not necessary, Arum and Team Pacquiao would have made that very clear at the start of negotiations in '09 and we would not be having this conversation today.

From my view, all Arum had to say was:

"We don't see the need to have Manny undergo testing beyond what the NSAC conducts. We believe the current drug testing protocol is more than sufficient to detect PED's. USADA drug testing IS NOT needed in boxing."

That would have made clear where they stood firm on the issue.

not here to have a long drawn out debate about this. seems clear to me that floyd knew that pac is willing to take floyd's ost this time around. so far, there's been no known official response from floyd about it. we have nothing to hang on to except pac saying that he will abide by floyd's ost. whether he is lying or not, how can we ever know without floyd's participation.
