            Not really. He already fought and beat Hopkins and was retired. No one wanted to see a rematch of that trash anyway.

            Hopkins ducked the fight when they were both in their prime.

            Shame. We wouldnt need to discuss "what ifs" if Hopkins had not backed out.

                      An immediate Hopkins rematch wasnt really an option until Hopkins beat Pavlik. HBO were trying to use Hopkins to build up Pavlik....
