why does David Haye have fans??

Besides being a 'bias brit', I like haye because he comes across as a funny (and good) bloke outside the ring, same reason I like a lot of fighters. He's got good skills with explosive power, just needs to take the big fights, which he looks like doing.

I also have no issue with the Klitschkos, they receive a lot of criticism but they've earned their status by beating (almost) everyone.

he has not fought anybody good.... he fights old guys.... and he will most likely pull out of the july 2nd fight..

Nobody can scam their way to unifying the cruiserweight division and win the WBA heavyweight belt but they would gain alot of boxing fans for doing so and that is why he has fans.I'm not a big fan of David Haye but this is the single most ****** question I've seen posted on this site but I hope I have helped answer your question.

But to answer the thread starter, you can't fault Haye fans for liking him. That's like saying why do people listen to country music just because you don't like it.

Haye doesn't really have fans: he's just the latest Great (half) Black Hope of KHN (Klitschko Hater Nation). They're desperate, and Haye represents salvation for them.

OK then, but by your own rational then so did Roy Jones Jr, even more so given that it was his only fight at heavyweight, and I don't remember him getting any criticism quite the opposite in fact.
