You guys are so short sighted and easily confused. Cunningham clearly admits to several execution flaws by his fighter, but that doesn’t mean that he needs to go into full retreat. Alexander should put the Bradley loss in the category of “I gave away the victory” not “I was dominated” because he was not dominated. Bradley did not hurt Alexander not once with his FIST. NOT ONCE. That’s why Bradley is not getting credit for some spectacular performance. Nine of the ten rounds could have gone either way. Any discussion that places Alexander anywhere, but the top of the 140lb class is crazy. WHY?
• Alexander beat Chop Chop 12 out 12 rounds at age 20……. Maidana had a life or death battle with Chop Chop last year
• Alexander stoped Witter in 8th and Bradley won by split decision
• Alexander knocked a previously unstopped Juan Urango out in the 8th, Berto ran for 12 rounds
• Alexander has the balls to fight Matthysse, a hard hitting puncher with a 95% KO ratio and good boxing skills, while
• Maidana faces senior citizen in Erik Morales and
• Kahn faces a feather fisted no name European Paul McCloskey
Alexander at 24 is the youngest of the top 140 pounders and every now and then it shows, but he is still “The Great”. All “Greats” face gut-check moments. This next fight is his.
