For one, Arum's not a fighter. Two, Arum wouldn't allow Mayweather to fight Cotto when both where undefeated JWW's and three Arum wouldn't Pay Floyd enough to fight the cheater.

Remember Arum makes or breaks fights especially when he promotes you. Guess who Bob promoted up until 2006? Guess what happened after 2006 when he got fired by this somebody? Pac ALWAYS puts his best effort in his fights. Look at how long he has been at the RING's P4P list and compare that to everyone else.

You can always put your best, but that doesn't mean you are the best ALL THE TIME.

Just because Pac wasn't FOTY it doesn't mean he's exposed. It simply means someone else performed better than him in that particular year.

and even that is debatable, since not everyone is of the mind that Martinez performed better than pac on 2010. but that's another topic altogether.

nonetheless, props to Martinez for getting to where he is now. he certainly deserves recognition for it.

I don't think that is the case because it's not true because Floyd does have the skills to beat Pac and easy at that. I just think it is a case of people talking about something they don't know. I wish everyone would let Floyd talk so we know for sure where his head is at, instead of reading these articles and running with it. Last thing we heard was that he wasn't coming back from what we heard from Zab Judah. Until Floyd says it himself, it is not gospel. How can Floyd be scared of Pac when the fight could have been a done deal over a year ago but Pac refused. Martinez don't want a 100MIL though.

Arum has the agenda to keep Floyd out of the ring until he thinks Pac has the advantage over Floyd. Just as he thought Hatton would have. Arum knows exactly how great Mayweather is technically and knows that he needs to stay out of the ring for as long as possible and then actually come to the table (not with a false countdown clock) and present a realistic contract fully agreed too.

Bottom line, Arum NEEDS Floyd ring rusted. In the meantime he'll keep the circus act in full effect.
