"No Contest" argument

i been looking more up about this "no contest"

regarding to vitali vs. solis


i thought a "no contest" can only be claimed if the injury is caused by a illegal punch/headbutt etc..

since it was a LEGAL punch, that caused the injury, and since solis could not continue its a legitimate win


so why are some people claiming for a "no contest"??

Most people hate the Klitschko's, even me(I hate wlad) but when there is even a slight chance of BS, the haters milk it like a mother****er.

It really doesn't even matter. Even if the fight would have went on he was going to get beat down anyway. Vital's a beast, Solis is garbage. If you really think Solis was going to get back up and win that fight, your a ****ing ******.

The haters are just trying to get Solis a rematch so then they can hate on Vital even more for giving a bum a rematch, ITS TRICK-A-HATE! hahaha Its nonsense.

Good point! The only thing is that the injury happened before the punch. Watch the video, his knee buckled when he missteped with the left leg. You'll see his left ankle slightly rolls due to the misstep causing all of his weight to be shifted on his right leg. Instantly his right leg buckles (injury occurs) and then he puts his hands up and ducks the obvious punch that was coming.

LOL, Solis KTFO? not so much. But it doesn't matter cause Vitali would have just used his laser vision in the next round anyway right?

Either way, i don't think the punch hurt him. But he was knocked down, and injured, a legal punch occurred at some point in the process.

I think they're just trying to get a NC cause that'd keep solis undefeated, which would at least keep him marketable for another fight against a kitschko

Pointless to try to figure out why people say the things they say. It could be motivated by dislike for vitali and his bro, could be for the love of solis, could be they fealt jipped by the short fight, could be that it looks like he hurt his leg before the punch landed.

This is boxingscene though, i don't think i've ever seen anyones mind changed about a topic reguardless of what evidence is presented to them.

Since Vitali's punch wobbled him and led to his knee giving up under pressure, instead of slipping and hurting himself or different kind of accident, I see a NC being totally out of the question.
