all you brit fighter haters, how many of you had carl froch at the bottom of the list when he beat dirrell to win this thing?
yeah, loads.
check my previous threads on this before and after that fight.
i said it once and i will say it again.
carl froch to win the whole damn thing.
carl froch to ko johnson.
carl froch to dominate arthur again in his (forthcoming) win against the yank.
question: why does everybody rate yanky fighters when they are on the way up when they didnt fight any names yet?
they dont do this with our fighters.
concerning the great joe calzaghe, all the yanks said before he spanked byron mitchell he was a nobody! funny coz no yanks with any real bottle would face chris eubank and joe took the fight and beat him.
then ofcourse there were others but, the one that comes to mind almost immediately....jeff"left hook"lacy.

they were so confident joe was "ready to be taken" and lacy never even showed up at the post fight presser.
all there was were humble apologies from his team.
there will be more of this when carl finishes this thing with his hand raised.

Andre Ward will win this tournament easily because he is destined to. He destroyed Kessler and Green. The only person that has a chance at beating Ward is his friend Dirrell, because of speed. Even he checked out of the tournament so he wouldn't face Ward. Ward vs Bute would be a good tuff fight.

I got Ward cleaning up Abraham, and then, assuming that Froch gets past Johnson - which is no given, I am not convinced that Johnson has finished yet, and styles make fights - I got Ward beating Froch to win the Super-6.

The Johnson/Froch fight should be great, I got Carl edging a real tough out.

I am becoming a bit of a Froch fan, that fight could seal it.

Then, Bute/Ward.

I think he landed some stuff in the last round.

Abraham seems mortally afraid of gassing. He would have had to really put it on Froch for about 3 rounds to get him out of there.

I don't believe in his one-hitter-quitter ability at 168. These are bigger, stronger men he's fighting.

Abraham's too small to knock out those bigger men but if he'd have stepped on the gas he would have gotten Froch out of there in the last three rounds?...Make up your mind, which is it?

It helps when never have to fight outside of your own country or backyard, getting referees who will allow you to head butt and forearm your way to victory!

Speaking as a 'Brit' i don't see Froch getting much further in the Super Six.
Johnson has the power to beat Froch, but has age finally caught up with him?
Ward would box Froch to a standstill, it's all about styles.....Froch hasn't got any!

Froch has only looked good in one fight, and that was against a pumped up one dimensional middleweight named Abraham.
Taylor exposed Froch's limitations, unluckily for him he ran out of gas alarmingly quick.
Froch laboured against a past his sell by date Kessler, the Kessler who fought 'Big Joe' would have knocked Froch spark out inside of six rounds.
