Comments Thread For: Froch: Abraham Only Needs To Land Once on Ward

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is still sticking to his position of giving Arthur Abraham a puncher's chance against WBA champ Andre Ward. The fight has been announced for May 14 at the Home Depot Center in California. Abraham has lost two out of his last three fights. Froch, who dominated Abraham in their Super Six bout, refuses to write him off.

I have a feeling that Glen Johnson is going to beat Froch up a bit. He better not be overlooking the old man.

Abraham was too slow for Froch.

And if you read the forums before that fight Froch was the slowest thing since a ******ed pensioner with alzheimers.

I can't even see him have any moments. Unless he can rough up Ward like Bika did.

I think he landed some stuff in the last round.

Abraham seems mortally afraid of gassing. He would have had to really put it on Froch for about 3 rounds to get him out of there.

I don't believe in his one-hitter-quitter ability at 168. These are bigger, stronger men he's fighting.

if onli it was that easy, everyone who enters the ring has a punchers chance because they have a pair of fists, but its not as easy as that

Ward is more than likely going to rough Abe up. Andre is a tough customer, as he's shown since the tourny opened up.
