How badly did that bomb in R2 of Mayweather/Mosley affect Floyd's confidence?

Just wondering whether this is the real reason Floyd doesn't seem interested in fighting at the moment.

Just for a few seconds his vulnerability got exposed and he looked beatable. Fortunately, Floyd had a few extra gears to move up and Mosley had nothing left to truly capitalize.

Do you think Floyd viewed that moment as a close escape and perhaps that's what is really keeping him away from a showdown with Manny?

    Thoughts welcome.

True Larry, but nothing Hatton hit Floyd many times and never managed to wobble him like that. That was a proper leg buckler shot.

Jump to 0:38, he smiled and shook his head at Mosley, then took over from there.

Different angle from the fight, watch.

I think he lost interest in fighting when he first retired. I think he felt he had to come back because his legacy was in question after the rise of Pac. That and he probably needed money. He wants to be an A list celebrity and if he can find a way to do it without fighting, he will.

                  Good answer.

I just wonder why he disappeared so soon after coming back to 'clean up'. Was his confidence affected, or did he just lose interest like you suggest..?

it dislodged one of his testicles

luckily for Floyd, his one remaining testicle was enough to dominate Shane the rest of the way

unfortunately, upon viewing Coto-PAC, his other testicle dislodged when Cotto was sent airborn from an uppercut
