And I don't know why you brought up Chambers.

Now, think about this for a second : you spend most of your time here in the Klitschko related threads, or at least, your post trail points towards that. How can you not be a Klit nuthugger when you spend so much energy defending them against what you usually call haters ? I mean, that's not like you're forced to do that in order to be able to enjoy watching the Klits fight. Over-appreciating a fighter and defending him vehemently on forums are the usual signs of nuthugging. A strong emotional bound if you prefer.

Of course, you can tell me the same, that I am a hater for the opposite reasons. I consider myself more to be a harsh critic than a hater since I can back all I say about them, but hey, maybe I am in denial too.

The part about Sanders, I believe it was half joke, half trying to psych me out. That's my take on that.

I don't follow the HW division closely enough to know which contenders are the best. There appear to be quite a few accross the ocean. Maybe he could have fought :

    Thompson ?
    Boytsov ?
    Dimitrenko ?
    Toney (LOL) ?

I'm well aware the division is weak, but come on, Briggs ? Sosnowski ?...
Holyfield was more worthy than Briggs and Sosnowski together.

Solis was worthy because despite questionnable dedication and a weak record, he had the talent, the youth, the great AM background, and the mandatory shot.

As for the question about comparing Vitali's reign to the one of the greats... You should not ask which one has consistently fought top 10 fighters, you should ask how many HOFers Vitali has beaten. In other words, top 10 Kevin Johnson isn't worth *****t to Vitali's already poor legacy, and poor Vitali's best win is what, Sanders ? Or Danny Williams ? The greats have all fought softies here and there, but they have fought HOFers and top 10 guys regularly in eras where the overall crop was just so superior.
I just want to start by asking when did I ever use the word "hater"? I guarantee you that you will be hard pressed to find anyplace that I have used the word. So once again, and maybe not on purpose, you have twisted my words.

I thought the reason I mentioned Chambers was obvious. But since it apparently wasn't I will explain. I mentioned Eddie because you stated that I am only a fan of the Klit bros when in fact you are wrong. I like Eddie for the simple reason that in the past 2-1/2 or so years he has fought five Ring top ten fighters. And to me that is pretty impressive. And if you look hard enough I said something about how I was pulling for him before the Wlad fight but thought that he was just to small. I also like Adamek because he moved up and fought some good fighters instead of just sitting around waiting for his shot at the title like many others have done. However, this McBride fight is a giant step backwards and a joke and not a very funny one at that.

As far as the Sanders joke it was a joke and nothing more. And I apologize for making you think I was trying to psych you out. I honestly did not think I had that kind of power and obviously I am not as funny as I thought. Oh well I guess I better stick with the day job.

As far as your pick of opponents for Vatli I can't see him fighting Thompson. Simply because he has done nothing since he lost to Wlad and simply does not deserve another shot because of that. And if he did fight him I can already here the complaints of how Vitali is just fighting Wlad's left overs. As far as Boytsov is concerned that would be an interesting fight. However, I do believe that he has some pretty serious hand problems that have limited him. And I would rather see Vitali fight Valuev before Dimitrenko. Because again this is an indirect left over of Wlad and he has done nothing since his lose to Chambers. As far as Toney is concerned, and I am glad you LOLed after his name, the only thing I interested in seeing him do is retire. And I was actually a fan of his long ago when he took out Nunn and Jackie was his manager, I thought she was pretty. Jeez, that was two decades ago. And I will say I was rather surprised that you did not mention Haye.

You also mentioned Holyfield and I was always a huge fan of his. Simply because he unified the Cruiser title and moved up and earned his heavyweight title shot the old fashioned. He fought four or five non title fights against very good competition before he fought Blubber Douglas for the title. I also met Holyfiled once in Atlantic City and he was a gentleman and treated me like a friend. So, I have the utmost respect for the "Real Deal" and would like to see him do nothing more then to retire ASAP and hopefully in good health.

As far as comparing the reigns of fighters I will say that you do have valid points. However, and you had to know that was coming, I can pick apart a couple of reigns of HOF's and I don't even have to get back that far. Lets see who can I pick? Oh, how about Larry Holmes. You want to talk about some bum of the months Larry fought some horrible fighters and not just a couple of them. He fought bums with a capital B. Scott Frank was one of them. The only reason Scott should have been in the arena the night he fought Holmes was if he purchased a ticket and was sitting in the stands drinking a beer with his buddies. And there were others.

During his title reign and before his first lose. He fought seven fighters in title fights that had 16 or fewer fights. And believe me, I watched them all, and most of them might have made good sparring partners but they were hardly world class fighters. And as for his wins over fellow HOF's. One was against a way past his prime washed up Ali. The other one was against a fighter who never won a title fight and is only in the Hall of Fame because he gave Ali fits and beat him once in three fights, and that would be Norton. As far as Larry's biggest win it happened to be against the very over protected "Great White Hope" Gerry Cooney. And then he lost twice to a blown up light heavyweight and was knocked out by Tyson and lost to Holyfield. And don't get me wrong because Holmes was a good fighter with great skills but a good bit of his competition was pretty lame. And I didn't even have to mention the likes of Lorenzo Zanon or Scott LeDoux.

In closing I will like to touch on the worthiness of Solis. And I will be honest and say that I was not impressed with him. What I am saying is that when he fought Austin I was not saying to myself, "wow, this guy is a really good fighter." It just wasn't happening. And I for one also did not see enough in the 180 seconds of the Vitali fight to be all that impressed. But I have no problem saying that I am very biased and can't get past his fatness. After all he obviously doesn't take his career very seriously so why should I?

Oh and one more thing. Believe or not Colonel Sanders I have enjoyed chatting with you. Have a good one!!

you can't even nuthug the right way, to the point that the Klit nuthuggers themselves see you as a threatening hater

strange though, cause you do know how to nuthug the Danish next Bute victim Kessler

Name one fighter in history that has the balls to quit a title fight he's winning handily against the most feather-fisted heavyweight of his time & then come back in another title fight with half his face falling off.eye dangling against the hardest puncher of his time & protest that stoppage to the point of continuing the fight after it was over.

Name one fighter who just watched his little bro get KTFO..GETS in the face of the guy who just annihilated his younger brother promising to get revenge & basically destroying him pummeling him from pillar post because he effed with his brother.

Fast forward to the last 2 fights.........name one fighter who gets visibly angry because he couldn't knock out his opponent but manages to do so much damage to him booking a suite for him for a week at a German hospital to nurse all his career ending injuries. Make no mistake Lewis isn't the ONLY slugger of the 90's that's been retired by Vitali.

Name one fighter who gets upset when you last 12 rds with him in his last bout & then gets angry when you don't make it past the first rd in the next.

Vitali Klitschko is the baddest man on the planet. Solis has yet to even make eye contact with him>>> 'nuff said!

Different circumstances..first of all Solis wasn't down 8 to 1 on the scorecards. When Vitali got knocked out he was the one who called the shots..the referee never intervened.....Byrd certainly didn't knock him down & had him doing the chicken dance right before the stoppage...so please try again.......this post of yours is as featherfisted as Chris Byrd's alleged phantom knockout punch on Vitali.>>>> kapish!

Please stop with that slo-mo replay. You are only embarassing yourself. This video only proves that Solis was off balance & not in a good solid defensive stance when he got clipped. VitaLI's punch helped facillitate everything afterwards. There would have been no knee cartilidge damage & any other leg ailments if Solis was sparring by himself. It's Vitali who put his a$$ down..not anything else.

I love how everyone can assume that anything Vitali throws is of the soft variety as if he's some sort of feather-fister. He put his hip behind the punch..timed him perfectly & hit him on the part of the heAD where glass shatters... kapish!
