Solis did'nt win the round. He landed 3 counters in that round but that's it. Vitali landed more.If you don't know how to score a round and can't make the difference between a blocked punch and a scoring counter, that's your problem, no need to show your ignorance to the whole wide Boxingscene world.
I can destroy you in any discussion, as I have done multiple times. So cut it off clown.Comment

Why do people post garbage like this? The punched dazed and disoriented him? Really? Let's take a look at it...You're mixing two different issues.
1. Vitali knocked Solis down, and if he then injured himself and couldn't continue, it is a KO. You can argue as to whether the punch or the knee was why he couldn't continue, but ultimately it doesn't matter. I saw Solis looking dazed and disoriented after the knockdown, and a knee injury, which I have had, doesn't do that to you.
2. IF Solis was injured before the fight, then as Dan Rafael says, he and Oner are guilty of fraud, because they went ahead with the fight under a false pretext, knowing he couldn't compete, just to get the money, which was his career-high payday.
They should be penalized in some way if that is what happened. Oner is a crook and a scumbag, so it's highly likely.
He was never hurt by that punch, as a matter of fact, I will even say it was a grazing shot that had no effect on him. What he did was go backwards in defense and you can see his knee give out on him, so I am NOT arguing different issues.
It's not Klitchkos fault, he would have won and is the best HW in the world, I'm not arguing that but to say it was the punch that caused the KO is nonsense.
I understand your point of the punch made him go backwards and that caused his knee to give and therefore it was technically a stoppage but we both know thats splitting hairs and some real BS in the bigger picture.
Solis committed fraud as far as I'm concerned. His purse should be taken away and the people should be given their money back because a member of Solis' camp admitted his knee was previously hurt before the fight.
It was a win by Klitchko but not a KO due to a punch, sorry.Comment

i thought they just said that he has had knee problems in the past, not that he tore his ligaments and whatnot before the fightWhy do people post garbage like this? The punched dazed and disoriented him? Really? Let's take a look at it...

Supposedly he had torn ligaments but because it was going to be his biggest payday, he went through with it anyway.
It was fraud, plain and simple.Comment

This is essentially what I've been saying all along. Why do people post garbage like this? The punched dazed and disoriented him? Really? Let's take a look at it...

As for the fraud issue, I'm not so sure. I think it's quite possible, especially with Ahmet Oner, but it's tough to say. What, exactly, was said, and who said it? Did they mean it was an old problem, or something that happened in the training leading up to the fight? We'll probably never know. Therefore, Solis will probably never be penalized. One this is for sure, the fans in attendance got a raw deal. I'm surprised there wasn't more of an uproar.Comment
