And apparently his cut in the Lewis fight was caused by a headbutt. Mmm...I think someone may be chatting b******t...

You can cry and whine all you want, you're just making a fool out of yourself.
Solis is a fat undisciplined pig who was never going to beat Vitali anyway.
Nothing is going to change the result, which is
Vitali KO1 > Solis.

Check Spray's sig, his head was moving exactly towards Vit's fist. The punch knocked his head a few inches to the opposite direction... being the direction Vit's fist was traveling. Basically, he SLIPPED into the punch.
Edit: I don't mean that it was a true KO-type-of-a-punch, but Solis got wobbled and his knee gave up.Last edited by khepesh; 03-21-2011, 03:45 PM.Comment

Look this is the truth....
Would Vitali have beaten Solis? Yes, I agree with this but this fight didn't end because of a punch, it ended because the handlers of Solis failed to report the injury he had BEFORE the fight because they knew it was their biggest payday.
It was a travesty of a fight, the 20,000 people in attendance were robbed of their money.
Solis is a decent fighter, much better than that first round showed but it was his knee that caused the end of that fight.Comment

First he says the punch was hard, but not hard enough for a knockout; then he says he "prepared" the punch, and it was "pretty hard." Whatever, man....
Klitschko KO 1 Solis
Lewis TKO 6 Klitschko
Just to be sure....Comment

You're mixing two different issues.Look this is the truth....

1. Vitali knocked Solis down, and if he then injured himself and couldn't continue, it is a KO. You can argue as to whether the punch or the knee was why he couldn't continue, but ultimately it doesn't matter. I saw Solis looking dazed and disoriented after the knockdown, and a knee injury, which I have had, doesn't do that to you.
2. IF Solis was injured before the fight, then as Dan Rafael says, he and Oner are guilty of fraud, because they went ahead with the fight under a false pretext, knowing he couldn't compete, just to get the money, which was his career-high payday.
They should be penalized in some way if that is what happened. Oner is a crook and a scumbag, so it's highly likely.Comment

Who said he injured his leg in training? If it was Solis or his team why should anyone believe them? And if he did injure the leg before the fight he was looking pretty healthy, at least the legs were, as his 250 fat a$$ was bouncing around before the fight started. And why is it Vitali's problem that Solis has a glass head? And all these Vitali haters are acting as if this was a phantom punch. The punch clearly connected and it clearly had an affect on Solis and he clearly went down and he clearly could not continue. With that said my point is Solis clearly lost. And you all can point all the fingers you want but it clearly was not Vitali's fault.Comment

Vitali Klitschko - greatest fraud ever.

Solis injured himself, no big deal, he loses, but to say that he was knocked out by that feather-duster is very, very inappropirate, dishonest and unecessary on Klitschko's part.
Solis will never get a rematch.Comment
