I don't really think cotto has a chance, but maybe it will lay to rest the idiot argument that pac weightdrained cotto.
145 lb Cotto lasted 12 rounds and busted up Pac's ear... who knows what a 154 lb Cotto with a real trainer by his side could do.

Could he win? Unlikely, but could he give a much better account of himself? Hell YES!

Well, Cotto-Margarito haven't been made just yet. If it does which the majority believe it to be so then...

      As a boxing fan: Damn.

Personal reaction: Good for Cotto/Maragrito winner and Pac. Casual boxing fans know who these fighters are and its another payday for them because of that. Arum would have to do a little extra work though since Pac already beat them though.

People forget that it only takes one good outstanding peformance to get into contention. It is just the way it works. Look at Pirog

At this point it doesn't matter. Fanboys will still buy it and justify it. They did it with Marg at 150 so whats the difference.

And I said...Margarito is finished. Guess what? He still is.
            Well since you are serious...........

Marg is about as done as Cotto, if you want to go that route. K9 wouldn't last 6 rounds with either Cotto or Marg and I hope you are still here when Marg beats up Cotto even worse than he did the first time.

Like I said though, neither of them are the same, not done but definitely not the same.

I would love to watch them fight in more even grounds at 154. Cotto was forced to drain to 145, without a trainer and I believe the fight would be more competitive now with Emmanuel at 154.

I wouldn't be surprised if Margarito beats him Cotto up worse. In fact, I'd expect Margarito to beat him. In fact, I just had a convo on my CP about Margarito beating him. Doesn't mean he deserves a title shot. Even if it's a paper title shot.

Is this because you think Marg cheated or hate him for cheating etc?

I don't care about that, not because I'm a fan of Marg or because I am Mexican or any of that BS because honestly I like Cotto very much as a fighter and person.

I just don't get emotionally involved with this type of childishness. Marg and Cotto have no where to go, neither of them have any business fighting Pacquaio, any reasonable person knows this.

So where do they have left to go? Each other and it's about money and guess what, it will even be a great fight.

No, not because he cheated, but because he hasn't done anything in years.

                      AT 154? No Catch weight?

...I'd still scoff at the fight. Honestly, I only want to see Pac-May

However, I'd give the winner AT 154, no catchweight, between Cotto-Margarito II A better shot at winning than both fighters' previous bouts with Pac-Man.

But that all depends on how impressive the winner is in victory...only time can tell
