It was a late reaction but he was clearly out of his mind and a knee injury had nothing to do with it. The punch to the cranium did.
The bold is a logical assumption, not fact. The bold/underlined is an extremely presumptive assertion. And I don't understand what you mean by "because Vitali has gotten beaten only by injury."

An injury does indeed take something away from the win, just like Byrd's legitimate win over Vitali is tainted by Klitschko's injury. I've said this before: Klitschko won against Solis fair and square. However, the case is being made that Solis was stopped because of injury, not a punch. I think both sides have a case. I've simply chosen the side I believe to be more correct.

It was an embarrassment! At least Tyson used to smack people around in the first couple of rounds, before the curtain fell. And even that got old. These guys mostly swiped at air before a questionable blow by Vitali led to Solis's knee giving way. "Anti-climactic" to the umpteenth power....

"The Anti-climax of the year" at this point for me, and for a couple of friends who were watching it with me.

Look at Fatty's left foot BEFORE the punch! Thats key.

It is SLIDING, ungrounded, untethered whatever you want to call it.
The ring surface and Oldaniers shoes did more than poor Vitali did. Bogus "ko"
