This is somewhat ironic, since you love bringing up statistics to support your silly little arguments. You've done so just a few posts above, in this very thread. But I still agree with you, Wlad is clearly the harder puncher of the two.

It's blatantly obvious that the Haye fans don't want him to fight Vitali first. If he does fight Vitali first it is likely that he will lose, bring his retirement date forward and then disappear.

If you watch any of his latest fights you'll see this to be the case. He looks like a walking zombie in the early rounds, then once his old man muscles have warmed up he gets significantly sharper and more fluid. It's one of the reasons I would have given Haye a better shot at him that Wlad, who's pretty much sharp from the opening bell.

They have different types of power. Wlad's more likely to put someone's lights out with one shot. He has the speed, the precision, the technique and the explosiveness to really put the hurt on pretty much anybody in the division. Vitali's the heavier handed, in that he seems the physically stronger of the two and is able to push his fist through opponents without significantly slowing his punch. That sort of damage is more cumulative over the duration of the fight and seems to cause more facial damage without necessarily ever causing the fighter to lose consciousness. He's also more likely to land his shots over the course of the fight due to his aggression and unorthodoxy of attack. With Wlad, you pretty much know what you're getting and can brace for it better.

I would be very disappointed if he didn't fight though and VK stepped in, Vitali/Haye is a consolation fight for fans.
Yeah, no point jumping to conclusions over a piece of gossip from that posh gossip rag the Grauniad.

Let's make it clear for the haters:

EVEN IF WLAD WOULD STILL be injured he would nevertheless fight Haye.

There is no chance that Wlad drops this fight.

Lol. The fight is still 3 months away, "oh wow Wlad hasn't recovered from his injury in a week, he wants to duck Haye!", give me a break. Wlad will be fine to fight Haye, I have no doubt, this is just "journalists" trying to create some drama.

it has to be Wlad. Anything other than Wlad fighting Haye and Wlads reputation is going to take a serious battering and sniping by not just people on forums, but journalists and historians.
i would love to be laughing at Wlad for ducking Haye as im not a fan of his sytle of boxing, but i cant believe he would duck him now, not after everything that has been said and done, he's a smart guy who comes across well, he knows the score, he's not dumb, he knows pulling out of this fight he would become the laughing stock of the current heavyweights.....he has so many advantages over Haye too, he would really be nuts to duck the fight.

                    Vitali Klitschko vs Lennox Lewis

                    THE TRUTH

Vitali and Lennox both took the fight on 1 hour's notice

Vitali and Lennox were both clearly winning the fight 12-0 on all 5 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor Shaw-Hi's stoppage. Vitali and Lewis were both badly hurt and staggering around the ring like a couple of half naked giant drunks, they barely survived the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th rounds. Vitali and Lewis were getting outboxed, outworked, outlanded and were hurt several times in the fight (by the referee).

                    punches landed

                    Vitali 43756877

                    Lewis 1

Lewis was exhausted and worn down by the constant nagging from Emmanuel Steward, he collapsed onto his stool collector at the end of the 6th round because he'd eaten a bad goat patty before the fight and it was now giving him the squits. Vitali was the fresher of the two, he'd only had a salad and a cup of green tea and his stools were therefore of a uniform texture and shape. He was a man on a mission and would've KO'd the porcelain throne for sure if the impromptu toilet break had continued.

Vitali intimidated the **** out of Lewis after the fight and made him look like David Haye. All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight, even Lewis's mum and Mr Blobby (actually the same person).

Lewis promised Vitali a rematch... of battleshits. Vitali, recalling the horrible stench of before, wisely declined.

Lewis turned down 25 million bottles of Reggae Reggae sauce for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali. Shortly after that he died of obesity, past-priminess and old age. RIP.
