i really dont see the problem, its been done forever. look what tarver did after roy jones beat ruiz. he rained in on his parade and got his chance to prove his skill. if harris doesnt call out cotto he will never get a shot at him

I hope it works. This is a fight I have been wanting to see. I would like to know how Cotto can handle a taller distance type fighter. I think Harris is a very dangerous opponent for him. Cotto has yet to fight this kinda of fighter.

If Cotto has the balls to take this fight, he will be in for a long night. If Cotto pulls it off, the hype is very real and he is part of the elite.

If Harris bad mouths enough and it works, good for him. Like Cotto, he needs a good fight.

Ah, but Harris learned this leason early in his career. He had a bad night against Ray Oliveria and allowed him to get close....cost him the fight. Since then, Harris hasn't really given anyone the oportunity to bust him up on the inside. He makes people pay dearly for trying to do it.

Cotto might be able to do it, cool if he does. But its not going to be easy by any means. Cotto better be able to handle those quick rights he will get tagged with trying to get in. I'm not saying he can't...But I am saying I would like to see him try.

This would be a good fight.

bailey was taylor made for cotto, all he(cotto) had to do was avoid the right hand, and box. i thought he looked good, but it wasn't a real test. not a test to see what he was made of. bailey is to one dimensional, bailey can't handle anyone who can really box. until cotto and any of these guys that are all hyped up, go to war, you can't really rate them yet, they're still green. you haven't seen him or them hurt or a come from behind to win. till they a fight with some dramatics, you can't label them. but i'll take V Harris against Cotto or hatton, and flip a coin against KT.........

What do you call Pinto if not a taller distance type fighter. Yes, Pinto did try to **** with Cotto (bad mistake) but he also used his jab and tried to box him from the outside. In order for Vivian Harris to use his right effectively he will have to allow Cotto to come inside or he needs to close the distance. That is when Cotto will counter with his left hook. I can't see Harris taking the body punishment Cotto will put on him.

Cotto isn't a one-punch fighter, either. He has power in both hands as he proved against Pinto and Bailey. Bailey had only been stopped once by Hurtado and that was from a perfect body punch (think Hopkins and DLH). He got knocked down twice and was taking a beating before he quit against Cotto. Cotto can set up his left hook nicely with his right and with his jab plus Vivian hasn't fought someone with boxing skills like Cotto has. His wins are against people who come in and try to **** with him (straight ahead fighters) like Urkal and Hurtado. However, he lost to Olivera who effectively used his jab and threw nice 3-4 punch combinations that Harris had no idea how to respond to them. Cotto puts his punches together so Harris better watch out.

The difference between Pinto and Harris is that Harris is not one dimentional. All Cotto did in the Pinto fight was keep his hand on his ear because he knew Pinto only threw big round right hands. Harris has more weapons and fires his right hand straight down the pipe. It's much harder to take away
