i like the fight. i'm sure angulo would love the payday and try to knock off one of the big names. angulo really has nothing to lose considering he can't fight in the united states yet.

How is he a b*tch?? By beatin people up??? Ask Paul Williams, Kelly Pavlik, and MANDATORY Sergiy Dzinziruk if Sergio Martinez is a b*tch... Nevermind.... Don't do thattttttttttttttt...
YOU DONT KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING.

First of all Martinez's mandatory was Zbik but HBO didn't want that fight. So he DUCKED HIS MANDATORY to fight Drizuriuk who never fought at 160 before. Did Martinez fight him at 154 or a catchweight? NOPE. So basically he ducked his mandatory and made a 154 jump a weight class to fight him.

Thats the definition of a b*tch move.

And hes 1-1 against Pwill and beat a alcholoic Pavlik who can barely make 160. And he got a draw against Cintron. Thats right, Kermit ****ing Cintron.

i don't think martinez ducked zbik, hbo didn't approve him as a challenger, thats totally different, and martinez said thats why he was stripped of the belt because he didn't fight zbik, but thats because hbo didn't approve, you really think he ducked zbik?? martinez fought a big pavlik, williams twice, was willing to fight angulo a strong puincher and you think he's ducking zbik? it makes no sense, besides he already said he wants that belt back and in mexico he told sulaiman he wants the winner of that bout, doesn't sound like ducking to me

Wow, you won't give Martinez any credit. First of all, he KO'd Kermit Cintron. He hit Cintron so hard Cintron thought it was a head butt but anyone with two eyes could see it was a punch. So, don't give me that draw crap...

Secondly, HBO did deny Zbik as an opponent to Martinez but Martinez was given the chance to fight on HBO and get paid very well. If you remember, to get the Bradley vs. Alexander fight on the air, they made HBO promise to televise Sergio's next fight. So, what you do? Fight Zbik for chump change on a cheesy PPV that nobody would see and get paid way less or get maximum exposure on cable giant HBO and get paid well and have a huge audience watch. You take the exposure AND money over Zbik anyday...

I am a Pacquiao fan like you but why did they pick Mosley? Team Pacquiao decided on Mosley because he made them the most money. Dzinziruk was the only opponent HBO would allow Martinez to fight and get good money for. You can't fault a guy for doing exactly what other fighters are doing. It doesn't make you look very smart...

i dont like to post, but check hook's comment was so ******ed I had to add my .02. Dzinziruk would destroy Zbik. If you knew boxing, you would realize how asinine it is to say Martinez ducked Zbik. He would pummel him if they ever fought. Martinez passed on Zbik only because HBO didnt want him on the air. He chose money and a tough opponent over a joke fight and less money. Martinez is one of the few guys who actually seeks out tough opposition. Shame on you for not admitting that.

sounds good...hopefully it happens. i wonder if this fight will be at 154 or 160? either way, i think angulo would do the same...hopefully this happens and he can face either zbik/chavez jr winner or cotto/margo winner. either fight for sergio in late 2011 would be great. for now, this angulo fight sounds good for him, more exposure, thats what he needs....

If Mexicans like you as a fighter you'll make millions more in your fights because there are 140 million of us. Glad to see that Sergio loves Mexico and appreciates us. Smart man.
