One other thing I'd like to add for the people who think it would be a fair fight at 135-140lbs but JMM gets killed at 147lbs....

AT THIS POINT IN TIME and in my opinion, Manny Pacquiao beats JMM at any weight now. Too many people act like Manny is still the same fighter he was when they fought the last two times. I have great respect for JMM and I still think stylistically he is the toughest competition Pacquiao has or may ever fight (with exception of FMJ) - But if some people can't see or admit that Pacquiao is more of a complete fighter then he was when they last fought then I guess there's nothing left that can be said to them. BUT, I STILL THINK IT WOULD BE A GREAT AND TOUGH FIGHT. This would not be a "gimme" for Manny Pacquiao by any means. I'm only saying Manny Pacquiao is NOT the same fighter he was when JMM fought him before. IF Juan were to go in to a current fight with Pac thinking Pac will be the same, then he might very well get badly hurt.

And as far as Marquez agreeing to fight at 147, I think he's the only one NOT complaining about it. HE doesn't seem to think it's an issue and has repeatedly said in the past that he will fight Manny at 147. And besides that, he's looking for his 4th title in 4 divisions so he's looking to do something great for himself here too. He can train like he always does and still fight for a 147lb title.

Side note: I still think when JMM fought Mayweather at 146lbs (or whatever it was supposed to be) that he didn't put the weight on properly. He looked fat rather than muscular. Whose to say he can't get himself a proper conditioning coach and try to do it better?
Marquez is the only one agreeing because he's not dumb like his peetard fans or *****s. They could fight at heavyweight and they still would come in at the same weight, 145-148.

Pacquiao needs to be tested for PED's if he fights Marquez or it won't mean anything if he wins like all his other "victories".

Marquez is just a great fighter, I think he will always give PAC a good fight 126-147. The thing is PAC just have Marquez number, PAC will always win a hard close fight.

it doesnt freaking matter what weight they come in,

on fight night pac is gonna be 147-148. when they fought at 126, pac came in around 145-146, when they fought at 130, pac came in 146-147.

no matter what division they fight, pac will be a welter on fight night.

If marquez is so much superior to pac weight wouldnt be a issue. in their 2 fights, it never was.

its only a issue to f*ggot asss posters on nsb who think their opinion matters & they hold the right to make or break a profesional boxer's career.

            ****ing laughable.

hope this fight gets made at 140 at most! but first marquez needs to fight at 140 to make sure he can even fight there. a welter fight is a ***** move by team pacquiao, manny can make 140 easy...the fight should happen at 140 if it ever does happen. still, i think jmm will get the same result as the second fight, decision will always go to pac.

you idiot, its about marquez's weight. if he has to make weight for a welter fight, he'll be anywhere from 145-147, even 148 on fight night. if he can make 140 at the weigh in he can try to make 142/143, not that far off from their second fight...

LMAO...Marquez could do OSDT, stop drinking his piss, take a pay cut and he still probably wouldn't get this fight. You swear like PAC is chasing Marquez haha. Lets just say if the fight happen it will be a gift to Marquez.

Why the hell would he risk losing out on $8-10 million by taking on someone else at 140 first? He could have another Chris John blunder on his hands, I'm sure he's learned from that.
