It went from Manny ducking JMM, JMM has Pacs number.. to.. it's UNFAIR, Manny is going to be 2-3 lbs heavier than JMM on fight night.

Maybe you can help me out because there are a few things I just dont get

Manny was 145 during the second fight.....how will 2-3lbs make much of a difference?

Marquez was 141 during the second fight. Why not come in at that weight?

Marquez was 145 during the Katsidis fight, and IIRC during the Diaz bouts as well.....why not come in at that weight?

I mean Manny is the same fighter, so Marquez shouldn't have any issues, especially since Manny is no bigger than the version (fight night wise) that Marquez faced in the second bout.

Bottom line... Manny no longer has to cut weight and can focus more on strategy (mannys fight night weight has been nearly the same since he was in the lower weights). People here just looking for excuses even though the fight isn't even signed yet.
