Okay first he got the Paquiao fight in which he made way more money than fighting Mosely. Then he wants to retire Cotto because people will pay a lot of money to see that and finally Martinez should want to avenge his loss to Margarito not the other way around!!

because Cotto is the bigger reward/lesser risk of the 3. Mosley is a bad matchup for him. Its possible that he could beat Mosley right now but he wont get much credit if he does after the way Floyd killed him, he struggled with Mora, and after Pac kills him.
