I'm sorry man, but you can't make a gate from NY or NJ like you can in Vegas. I promise you this gate will bring in Floyd numbers for Vegas fights. Cotto made about 13 million with PPV (1 million for the gate) in his fight with Mayorga, I can almost guarantee this fight will bring in 8-10 million at the gate because it is such a huge fight. That being said if this one is in Vegas I don't care how much it costs I'm going to find a way to be at this one, and I'm sure a slew of my friends will as well.

Cotto was boxing Margarito's face off for 6 1/2 rounds prior to one plaster-filled shot busting Cotto's nose. One punch power is never something Margarito has had, as has been evidenced since having the bricks removed. After that, Cotto couldn't breath. That's why he ran out of gas. No oxygen to replenish lost energy equals insta-fatigue.

And as far as being the same guy he was before: If Cotto isn't the same, what do you call Margarito after getting blasted by Mosley and shredded by Pacquiao? His face was like deli meat after Pac.

Cotto won't be drained, Margarito won't have an unfair weapon, and it will be a war. A war that Cotto should win with Steward in his corner.

That's why he's being featured on the card. They'll put him in against a guy he can get a highlight reel KO and some buzz against and then set up Cotto-Cintron. I think Top Rank should save that one for the PR day parade next year at MSG though.

cotto couldnt **** with pacquiao and ran to save his ass from gettin ko. ill admitt that but margarito is a cheater. had he fought cotto clean, he would have been ko. cottos punches had no sting after the 6th round cuz he was getting hit with bricks.

Cintron might be boxings most notorious mental midget. I honestly just can't stand watching him fight and be in the ring. He was turning me into a fan when he accepted the rematch with Margarito, knowing how he got that ass whupped the first time. He took his second ass whupping like a man, but all his other antics...I rather just not watch him
