Nice comment about moreno-donaire, cliff. This is exactly what I was thinking.

You see that much quality gap between...
Darchinyan-Sidorenko-Montiel
&
Pavlik-Williams-Dzinziruk?
I don't. And, as noted, if they were the same size, Donaire would beat Serg. Just my take.Comment

I disagree with your take. Martinez is the better fighter. And thank goodness espn and the ring agree, which is what really matters.Comment

No way Mayweather is less than second best. JM Marquez should be higher than Martinez. He's in his third division and is the best fighter there-- and it's one of the most talented divisions in boxing. Martinez was losing when he moved up 1 division to a mediocre Pavlik before Kelly's injuries changed the fight. Furthermore, Martinez was unimpressive vs a mediocre Cintron who was in his original weight. Marquez would kill Pavlik or Cintron caliber fighters. Lastly, unlike Marquez, Martinez wouldn't be the best in his division if he moved up to his third division. The top two slots in the BoxingScene pound-for-pound ratings, for now, remain secure. The next three slots are all up for grabs. The only thing that can be certain is that each man’s last name begins with the letter “M.” [Click Here To Read More]Comment

Of course there is. Montiel dominated almost everybody in 3 divisions and Darchynian everyone in 2 until Donaire dominated both of them. Pav, Williams and Dzinziruk didn't even make it out of there original divisions and beat the best of the next division up. I love Martinez but fair is fair. Donaire ahead of Martinez.Comment

I have a hard time seeing Hopkins making the top 10 coming off a loss to a fighter who probably isnt top 20.Comment

IMO you should either drop Floyd from the list altogether or disregard his recent inactivity. Keeping him around but dropping him a few places as punishment just looks like you're trying to make a (rather petty) statement.
My ratings:
1. Manny Pacquiao
2. Nonito Donaire
3. Sergio Martinez
4. Juan Manuel Marquez
5. Wladimir Klitschko
6. Juan Manuel Lopez
7. Anselmo Moreno
8. Giovani Segura
9. Timothy Bradley
10. Andre Ward
Dropped Wonjongkam because he's done fuck-all since the Kameda win.Comment
