Comments Thread For: M-Cubed: BoxingScene’s Pound for Pound Top Ten

The top two slots in the BoxingScene pound-for-pound ratings, for now, remain secure. The next three slots are all up for grabs. The only thing that can be certain is that each man’s last name begins with the letter “M.” [Click Here To Read More]

Good list IMO. maybe martinez above donaire? But then again Donaire KO'd a guy who was in the top 5 just recently.

Can't argue with Mayweather dropping spots. If he's not going to be an active fighter then he deserves to get kicked off entirely.

Still don't think Klitschko belongs. For a heavyweight to be on a PFP list he has to posses a well-rounded skill set IMO. Wlad doesn't.

There are several guys that have more tools than he does (and who face much tougher opposition) who deserve the spot more.

On the fly no real thought here

              1.Pacquiao
2.Mayweather-would be 1 if he fought more
              3-Bernard Hopkins
              4-Sergio Martinez
              5-Andre Ward
              6-Nonito Donaire
              7-Timothy Bradley
              8-Juan Manuel Marquez
              9-Wladimer klitschko
              10- Carl Froch

this is all off the top of the head with more thinking these spots might change a bit.

All strong points. My take, at least right now (and my thinking changes constantly) is that the sort of lengthy run he's on merits placement if I'm going to include heavies.

Nope, him too. Those two sections are not the next ten. They're samples of people who either legit could make cases for the top ten or, in the case of the group you're referring too, are young talents or vets with big fights looming who could begin to make a case. Boxing is just deeper than most cats give credit for.

                    retarted .....may

mayweather #4? Are u ****ink crazy? Or are u part of the gayweather family? Gayweather is and have always been overrated.. He doesn't belong in the top 10 and never should. Who have he beaten? Just ask ur self this question? Why he avoided fighting Cotto, marcheato, williams, martinez, even khan, bradley, alexander etc. Any of this boxers will expose how fragile gayweather really is. No no no, he cherry picks his opps and maybe his next fight will be vs ivan calderon or christy martin. Repeat any one who puts gayweather on the top ten pfp must be on drugs or have mayweather for last name. nitramzaid@hotmail.com
