For a movie called "The Fighter", I really expected a bit more fighting in it. And honestly, this is the lamest thing I've ever heard. Who the hell makes freakin sequels of movies based on a true story? Titanic was the second highest grossing movie of all time, but you don't see Hollywood makin a damn sequel of that.

they exceeded my expectations with the fighter and there's plenty of potential for a sequel when they include gatti's rise and fall to fame into play

there's enough to be told between these two to make a great sequel

I guess there is lot of stuff about the gatti fights that will make up a sequel. I'm not sure if they'll be able to get he whole cast back. Christian Bale probably received more movie offers after winning a award.
