For a movie called "The Fighter", I really expected a bit more fighting in it. And honestly, this is the lamest thing I've ever heard. Who the hell makes freakin sequels of movies based on a true story? Titanic was the second highest grossing movie of all time, but you don't see Hollywood makin a damn sequel of that.

What was Micky Ward known for? The Shea Neary fight? No, he was known for the Emanuel Augustus war and the Gatti trilogy and I think if they really want to capture what the 'fighter' was about, they need to include those...

And, if they really wanted to boost blu-ray/DVD sales, when the Fighter II comes out, they could make it a major combo pack, including both movies and the Gatti vs. Ward trilogy on bonus discs (or even just the first fight which Ward won). I know I am dreaming but that would be something I would pay for regardless of cost.
