According to news agency EFE, Lucas Matthysse (28-1, 26KOs) has been confirmed to return on June 25 against former junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander (21-1, 13 KOs). Both boxers return from defeats. Alexander lost a technical decision to Timothy Bradley in January. Matthysse lost a decision to Zab Judah in November, although he returned in a January tune-up to knockout DeMarcus Corley in eight rounds. American network HBO will televise the fight.

Zab survived against Matthysse. I really like Matthysse and this fight with Alexander should be a good stepping stone for him. At least, his name will be more recognizable to the general public. Matthysse wins by decision because I don't think Alexander will be dumb enough to **** with him. Matthysse has to hurt Alexander early in the rounds to get a KO or TKO. Lastly, this would be Alexander's last high profile match if he doesn't win because he was an overrated boxer.

And if Alexander wins, I don't even think I'll be here for a while because that **** would pissed me off so bad.

I hope Devon get's in the gym and fixes the big flaws that are in his fight game..I think this is a more winnable fight then Maidana tbh,but I don't think Devon will plug the wholes so I'm going with Matt's in this one..

I'll be pulling for Matthysse, but I think Alexander outboxes him. From what I've seen Alexander has a top notch chin and his hand speed is going to give Matthysse hell.
