I never said it was but people will realise that groves doesn't have the toughness or chin to ever make it there, he will get exposed and have to rebuild go after British title after it is vacated, get a Lonsdale belt, and go the European belt route take small steps, because he is miles away at the moment. Degale is not very far away at all, he is a year or 2 away from a super six calibre fighter, he could fight for a world title very soon against a weak champion within 2 fights imo

I am telling you degale is already levels above groves, this was just a handy fight for him to take because it is a perceived step up in level, big pay day, good fight to boost his profile, and a fight closer to getting his Lonsdale belt which he says he really wants, once he has won it he'l go into a world title shot...Mark my words

DeGale by a TKO for me.

Either Booth pulls George out when he is trying to be too brave or the ref will jump in a little early and stop it from unanswered punches.

Either way DeGale proves he is the best domestic SMW (aside from Froch who is a class above all)

DeGale TKO is what I am thinking.

Groves to force a stoppage around the 9th.

He is too slick, too stylish, and too sly for Groves to beat in a boxing match. If Groves wants to win, he will have to dig deep and fight aggressively. If he tries to box he will be beaten to the punch every time. However, as De Gale has never really been put under heavy artillery and sustained pressure, he may wilt if Groves put it on him. Saying that, Groves looked spent after only a few rounds with the limited Kenny Anderson, and I have reservations about his stamina, especially in a fight where he has so few advantages. In my opinion, De Gale will be the victor, but I hope my prediction doesn't come true.
                  Nice post. I agree.

After seeing Groves struggle with Anderson I think DeGale is going to murder him if he gets him in trouble. I really dont see him letting him off the hook at all...to be fair I think both these guys can finish well, but i think DeGale will have too much all round for Groves unless Groves can unload on Chunky early
