Arum: 'Rachel is a bad influence to Donaire Jr.'

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Top Rank promoter Bob Arum called the wife of WBO/WBC Nonito Donaire Jr. a "bad influence" and was blamed for Donaire's signing of contract with Golden Boy Promotions even if he's in contract with Top Rank.

According to Arum, Donaire did an "absolutely ****** move" for transferring to Golden Boy because he just won't simply allow such action which was also done by Golden Boy before with Manny Pacquiao.

Arum had already filed a complaint with the arbitrator, who would have a jurisdiction over the dispute between Golden Boy and Top Rank and Arum expects the arbitrator to call for a hearing immediately in order to find out who has a promotional right over Donaire's fights.

“Somebody is going to pay for this.” Arum said threateningly.

Rachel Donaire previously stated, that's why they left Top Rank because they were inattentive over Donaire's boxing career and Pacquiao is just their priority and leftover fights were only given to Donaire.
