Post Fight Presser: TOP Vitali Klitschko Excuses
So you don't have to think of excuses after tomorrow night I went ahead and thought of them for you.
TOP Excuses for Vitali Klitschko (and fans)
1. I just didn't have it tonight.
2. I did my best to prove I am the strongest but tonight he was stronger.
3. I hurt my hand in the 1st round.
4. I hurt my shoulder (like against Byrd)
5. I felt exhausted (like his brother)
6. I pulled a stomach muscle (like his brother)
7. I thought we had a double rematch clause
8. He wasn't handpicked
9. I was winning on all cards before they stopped it (like against Lewis)
10. I'm just not hungry anymore.
Other excuses:
1. He's almost 40.
2. He underestimated him.
3. No one expected Solis to be that good.
4. Klitschko had an off night.
5. He wasnt feeling well in training but didnt want to put the fight off.
Just say you got exposed when you fought a decent fighter.Comment

Just remember to kiss Vitali's feet tomorrow night after he murders your Cuban wonder boy.
“I think it stacks up very high,” Lennox Lewis said of Vitali’s heavyweight legacy.
“To come back from a layoff like he did, and to have just a tremendous fight winning the championship back again is a tremendous accomplishment. And even to continue winning at this‒at the age he's at and still have the drive that he does is amazing.”Comment

I am quite frankly surprised that Carlisle is still getting replies to his all-too-obvious attempts at trolling after 5 years now.
Anyhow Solis had let himself go, really let him self go, up until about a year and a half ago, for the Barrett fight. Ballooning to over 270 lbs (where unbelievably he was still able to easily dispatch Monte.) He has since dropped weight in each and every fight since, now coming in at 12 lbs lighter than his pro debut weight.
It shows that he's taking pro boxing (and especially this fight) more seriously. And had he lost much more this soon, it would probably turn into a negative. I'm expecting a good fight, and if the odds are right, might even bet some real money on the long shot.Comment

It's a shame you haven't watched that fight - or if you have, then you're completely blind. And if you seriously think fights are scored on the basis of punch stats then you really need to learn the basics of the sport before you post here again. One meaningful punch with power behind it counts for more in the scoring than 10 pitty-pat punches or glancing blows. And almost all of the meaningful punches were landed by Vitali in that fight, which is why HBO, The Ring, and every boxing expert in the world, as well as all three judges, had Vitali up on points by a very wide margin when the fight ended.Comment
