Ugh Daniel Santos and Joel Julio ring a bell?

Sergio has to accept that he aint getting Floyd, Pac, or even Cotto right now. The best options for him are fighters like Pirog or Angulo.

Pac does it all the time because he earned the right. What's the difference?

The fight is fine but all thats gonna happen is if Martinez wins he's gonna just going to be accused of fighting limited easter europeans who haven't beat anyone.

Before the Dzinizeik fight all everyone said was how good he was blah blah blah and now that martinez won all anyone can say now is he's ducking pirog and Sergi was overrated and too small. Nevermind Sergio won the title less than a week ago!

A pirog fight is a lose lose situation. He takes the fight and wins nobody will give him credit and will just call pirog green. I want him to fight someone that Boxing knownothings can't magically dismiss as an easy win or a lucky punch!

the only thing that is the reality for pirog not getting his just due, is his obscureness.

he has a good record, he's fought tough guys, most of his fights have been against guys with winning records and he sparks guys out who can't hang with his power.

he handled jacobs like with ease, hell, with the way he cracked jacobs and sparked him out, it was like man verses boy.

i want to see more of pirog, obviously, but, a basic and flat out fact, pirog needs a couple more US tv fights in order to get his public interest up, which would create a demand for him against martinez or anyone else that people would want to see him fight against.

power wise and will, i would give pirog a chance against martinez, but overall skill and boxing talent, martinez is head and shoulders above pirog, i think a fight between them when things are set up right is a instant classic......

i'm for it, it just needs to be set up properly, for the sake of the fighters and the fans, it would be sad if a match up between the two were a small promotion fight and not set up for a big fight for millions to see instead of smaller crowds and smaller tv audience..........
