If you were to ask boxing fans if this era of HW's is one of if not the worst the vast majority would say it is.

The fact that Cris Arreola, Kevin Johnson, Eddie Chambers, Shannon Briggs, Albert Sosnowski and fighters of that ilk are top contenders says it all IMO.

Chisora is 14-0 and he was going getting a pop at Wlad, why? Because the division is a big pile of steaming ****e outside of the Klits.

It's full of ex Cruisers and old men, it's like ****ing pensioners day out with Holyfield and Ruiz fighting for titles.
Most boxing fans are bitter americans that miss the days when they dominated the HW division, their opinions are irrelevant to the facts, and the facts are that when a guy/team is dominating, people who don't like him/them will cry out "weak era" to feel vindicated. It's happened in tennis when Federer started breaking Sampras records, and it's happening in boxing

        Yes it was.

Joe Louis's era was so bad at one point that he had "the bum of the month club" where he knocked down tomato cans.

Even Ali fought a truckload of stiffs, along with his big fights. Chuck Wepner is worse than any of the guys the Klitschkos are fighting, and he knocked Ali on his butt.

The "weak era" thing is just a way to deny credit to the Klitschkos.

The Federer example is 100% correct. All the American Sampras fans started to bash Federer with "weak era' and "clown era" arguments as soon as he closed in on Pete's records.

          It's just sour g****s.

Yep. I find it funny how they try to appear unbiased yet their arguments have no basis whatsoever. Maybe if it had been the 1st time I see americans (some of them, not all of course) cry "weak era", I may have been fooled, but I've seen it before and oh, surprise! It follows the same pattern ie. some not american guy taking over a sport that americans were dominating previously.

I really don't understand why it's so hard for some guys to give credit to foreign athletes
