    Lennox Lewis about the Klitschkos

Q: Lennox, I know you fought Vitali I guess about six or seven years ago. And I'm wondering if – I know you've probably followed his career. I think you pay close attention to what's going on.

How would you assess what he has done from the time of his defeat against you to when you retired and then claiming the title going through a bunch of defenses since he's – you know having a long layoff, coming back winning several defenses.

Where does his legacy stack up, in your opinion, in heavyweights, whether it's compared to yourself, compared to his brother?

Lennox Lewis: Yes, I think it stacks up very high. To comeback from a layoff like he did, and to have just a tremendous fight winning the championship back again is a tremendous accomplishment. And even to continue winning at this – at the age he's at and still have the drive that he does is amazing.

So I think he does stack up, and you know in history, these things are going to be definitely noted.
Q: Would you consider this, right now, the era of the Klitschkos? And do you – would you induct them into the Hall of Fame, you being in there?

Lennox Lewis: It is definitely the era of the Klitschkos. The fact is that both of them hold titles and they're really the kings of the heavyweight division right now.

And as far as the Hall of Fame, that's an automatic question. You know whenever have we had two heavyweight brothers ever holding titles at the same time? I mean, that's an award in itself. So, yes, I would definitely induct them on just that premise alone.
It doesn't reflect very well on the Klitschko haters, when a great champion gives them their due credit, yet they refuse and act all the time like whiny bitches, huh?

goes both ways, lennox and vitali both gave each other respect and props, it was nice to see.

but both sets of fans turned it into an argument again.

      They're both great champions.

It's not their fault that they're the dominant force in the worst heavyweight era ever.

      Two classy guys to boot.

Good to see sportsmanship from both boxers. It's a shame the Klitscko's are in one of the worst heavyweight eras.

Since you are so sure, I'm sure you'll have proof. No? Oh, that's too bad.

                Wind your neck in man

If you were to ask boxing fans if this era of HW's is one of if not the worst the vast majority would say it is.

The fact that Cris Arreola, Kevin Johnson, Eddie Chambers, Shannon Briggs, Albert Sosnowski and fighters of that ilk are top contenders says it all IMO.

Chisora is 14-0 and he was going getting a pop at Wlad, why? Because the division is a big pile of steaming ****e outside of the Klits.

It's full of ex Cruisers and old men, it's like ****ing pensioners day out with Holyfield and Ruiz fighting for titles.

I like the brothers and Lewis. All great champions. Good to see mutual respect.

Far more class than someone like Haye.
