if mccall beats boswell i think he should get a title shot

why not? even at 45 no one has fought the competition he has fought since last october.lance whitaker, fres oquendo, timur ibragimov & now cedric boswell...he is 2-1 vs the first 3 i mentioned & there are guys getting shots who havent earned it...mccall at 45 has been fighting better guys then any top 20 contender.he beats boswell i think he should be considered for a title shot or at least a final eliminator

i agree , and oddly enough with his chin and atomic bull 1 hit power , against wlad or haye , with there brittle whiskers , he most definately has a punchers chance , albeit a small one at this point , WAR mCcall

          I will say this:

Boswell-McCall is a much more interesting fight than Boswell-Cooper, and I will be watching tomorrow night for sure.

Boswell is underrated, he can punch and I wouldn't be shocked if he stops old McCall.

McCall is funny to watch. his painfully slow nowadays, at his age....and even in his prime he wasnt exactly a speed demon.

Yet his still has that hidden, sneaky power.

Im impressed hes still doing so well at his age, all things considered.

Is this really the state of the heavyweight division? I don't mean to disrespect McCall, who has done well for himself, but man. What happened to the days when a guy like Frank Bruno was a contender who had no chance to beat the best? I'll settle even for that.

You mean the state of the heavyweight division IN THE USA?

The division is doing fine in Europe: Wlad, Vitali, Haye, Pulev, Adamek, Helenius, Fury, Chisora, Price, Glazkov, Boytsov, etc.

If people think Oliver McCall might deserve a title shot, then the division has a problem. Has nothing to do with America.
