    really larry? The dude hasn't fought for a long time....if he comes back he will surely take a tune-up. My guess is that it could be Bradley who has fought at 147 before and looks ready to move there, or perhaps Alexander who is a SP.

      but i thought floyd was so great that he doesnt do tune ups?

        This. If he's anything near smart, he'd fight Berto if he gets by Ortiz. I mean why not? He's young, undefeated, quick, strong and it's even more marketable than a Martinez fight. Berto hangs out with millionaires like Diddy, whereas nobody aside from big boxing fans know Martinez. I can't see it being any more competitive than the Hatton fight, but that's not Floyd's fault.

        Cintron would only make sense if he fought and beat Cotto, which I think is very possible. But as of now he will forever be known as Cannonball Cintron. He needs to become #1, and then defend that title to be taken seriously.
