      C'mon he is amateurish. Fighters would go to fight thinking how to swim without getting wet? Even Manny Steward with the Merchant said "What the hell is that amateur trainer is talking about?"

        I might be wrong but I dont remember hearing Merchant or Steward ever disrespect Richardson like you claim. Could you please post a video clip of that cause i dont remember hearing that. Oh and as for the "swim without getting wet" comment what he means is go and engage him but be careful and slip his punches so you dont get hit.

        Swim = Engage

        Without getting wet = Without getting hit

        In other words, fight him in the pocket,get your shots off and slide to the side so you dont get hit back.

          well not for nothing but what you just explained kind of backs up what homeboy was trying to express

          I mean why can't Naazim just say engage without getting hit stay in the pocket get your shots off then side to side?

          simple

            how do you know he hasn't said that to shane during training camp though? I highly doubt naz would be in the corner spitting **** to shane or hopkins or Cunningham if he knew or thought there was a chance they didn't know what the hell he was talking about.

            First off, it isn't that hard to understand. Second, maybe the entire time during training camp he was preaching "swim & don't get wet" to shane, that was the game plan.

            Naz knows his fighters. His gameplans are excellent and have been solid. The only problem are sometimes his fighters are just too old to actually pull them off, but there isn't anything he can do about that.

              Me too. He has fighters who are already on top. They think he's so great because he uses his lil metaphors and seems like the tough guy they wanna be. I dont particularly like Freddie Roach but he trains circles around ****m. We gotta have a party Eaner. We finally agreed on somethin.

              Training and views. He rides the jock of who ever the opponent is. Tried to **** on Mayweather since they signed the fight with Pac. He's just a celeb trainer.

                to me, and again to me, is sounds more like he's trying to hard to be cryptic than anything.

                and I already stated his gameplans were fine

                it's his training I question

                    Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
