What's with this Canelo is advanced for his age, he's only 20 crap? Most great fighters get their belts at his age, especially the ones who have gone pro at 15/16. They fight the top competition and sometimes they lose. What makes Canelo different is that he's already overhyped and protected.

Notice how I said GREAT fighters. They most likely had to fight the best to get their world title and even if they didn't, they still defended it against top competition. It doesn't matter if Canelo was 20 or 19 or 21, he's got a belt that other top competitors in his division deserve to get their hands on.

Here are some modern names I'm sure you're familiar with. Most turned 21 the year they got it. Canelo turns 21 in July.

Pacquiao - 19 - WBC & lineal
Trinidad - 20 - IBF
Floyd - 21 - WBC
Barrera - 21 - WBO
Morales - 21 - WBC
De La Hoya - 21 - WBO
