They say the highest available contender is Rhodes? I bet Angulo and PWill who are ranked higher than him will take the fight...this is some bulls.hit!

The Ring has Rhodes currently at #4 so it's not terrible. The people rated higher than him are Angulo, Cintron and Cotto.

I'm just glad it's not another "matt hatton" (no disrespect to hatton) and actually a top 5 ranked guy.

The WBC is should be put out of business. They don't take their rankings seriously. Additionally, the WBA should also be put out of business for having 2 world champions in some of the divisions, a "Super" and a "Regular."

Honestly I'm surprised it's not Mayorga or someone like that.

Out of all the insanely ****** and horrible things the WBC does, having Canelo fight Rhodes isn't bad at all.

Nope not BS at all! He's still a 20 year old fighter no matter what he has around his waist.

i feel you, but you forgot an interim champion as well, so that makes 3 per division!

I doubt Rhodes will offer much more resistance than Mat Hat tbh.

I does matter what he has on his weight, if your a champ you need to fight real contenders not made up ones, if otherwise your disrespecting the sports since they are bending the rules and taking away chances to boxers that they deserve it.....

Really so what 20 year old champion is doing that right now in fact how many 20 year olds were fighting top notch fighters ever in the history of boxing. 1 or 2 out of thousands and thousand of boxers?

Lets be honest here you don't like the kid, you wanna see him lose, and you don't want to see him progress. Thats what this comes down to! The kid is way advanced for his age and you don't like that!

Sounds a little unfair to me especially when everyother major fighter out there got a chance to learn and get better when they were 20 years old. Just becasue the kid is wildly popular doesn't change that fact!
