typical coach response, never answer the question.mayweather isnt fighting so their is just one person which suits the criteria of fighter you want pac to fight. theres not exactly a massive amount of opponents to choose from. heck if floyd fought clottey, marg, and cotto i would give him props.

just stop with the hate man.

So its a coincidence that Pacs last 6 opponents have all looked like absolute **** in there previous fights?

Its a coincidence that they didn't want to fight SM coming off a win unless he made a 142/143 catch weight, but they want to fight him after not winning a fight in two years at 147...........

not entirely correct. hatton schooled paulie. and you have to also consider what cotto has done after he got beat by pac. he has gone on o become light middle champ and has looked impressive. we still dont know what clottey will do in the future, if he comes back to win a title then no one can say that was not a good win.

Hell no one can say that wasn't a good win anyway. Clottey's a fckin beast of a welterweight. Everyone said so before Manny beat the brakes off him. Clottey was beating a prime, tiptop Margarito until he hurt his hand, he went to hell and back with Cotto and he beat the crap out of Zab Judah. People only diss him because he got destroyed by Pac, but before that fight everyone thought very highly of Clottey.

As for Hatton, you're right, the Malignaggi win completely contradicts the other poster's previous statement. Hatton looked as good as ever in that fight.

Hatton = Came from victories over Juan Lazcano and a TKO win over Paulie Malignaggi.

Cotto = Wins over Michael Jennings and Joshua Clottey

              Barrera, Marquez, Morales.......

Coincidence ..... !!! Think before you type !!

Paulie was picked by Hatton for him to look impressive against a guy that couldn't hurt him and that was imperative especially after Lazcano had Hatton hurt.

I don't think Hatton looked exactly impressive against Paulie either.

Never answer a question...who are you kidding? Again, he has people he CAN fight that are better than the ones that he picked (just like people felt regarding Mayweather in 05-06). But besides ALL of that, Manny has went on to fight Clottey, Tony, and now Shane for ONE reason. And, that reason isn't money.

exactly. clottey was a former champ, a top 4 welterweight and has never been dominated, yet after pac beats he is a bum. haters are going to hate what can you do.

Sadly, a faded Zab Judah is his best win. That isn't saying alot. And for the record, he has NEVER won a big fight, and he is a beast of a welterweight?

And I don't remember anyone thinking "very highly" of Clottey at any point in his career.
