I don't care about Golden boy or Top Rank at the end of the day Mosley was considered a threat back then hence them wanting him to come down to 143 now he hasn't picked up a win in over 2 years and he is now 40 team pac give the go ahead to fight at 147....what a joke
im not hating but when your past three opponents are Clottey,Margarito and Mosley I don't think you should hold onto top p4p status with that level of opponent.
but you were asking that if there was any other reason why pacquiao would face it now. and i stated shane's ties with gbp is probably it. which apparently, you don't care about

Yeah but all the talk of Mosley wanting to fight Pacquiao didn't start until he was already set to fight Cotto. We've seen the last couple years that Arum has guys in mind for Pacquiao to fight before he has even finished his ongoing fight, and Cotto was ready to be made the second Hatton hit the canvas. So Mosley opening his mouth about wanting to fight Pacquiao when was already going to fight Cotto means nothing to me.Comment

its not pacs last fight so stop getting your knickers in a bunch. pacs staying active while floyd is not fighting at all. and you ***ing clowns would rather trash pac. truth is, fighting decent fighters is a whole lot better than not fighting at all. Thats the real robbery, claiming to be the best, claiming to reclaim his spot, then have 2 fights rob the public then retire. But of course pac is the worst thing in the sport of boxing llolololololComment

This is from MAY 2009. Shane was willing to drop down to fight Manny.

And there was also a video interview that Shane did on ESPN in April 09 and he said that he wanted the winner of Pac-Hatton. He didn't just start talking about it AFTER the Manny-Cotto fight was already "finished" or being discussed.Comment

that's fair. But that's not the fight at hand, should that mean that Pacquiao shouldn't try to win decisively? It all comes down to being a boxer, and looking for a decisive win, which isn't solely the "pacquiao gameplan" it's EVERY fighters plan.Comment
