Pac is too small for Martinez. Mayweather isn't.

If Pac and May don't fight each other, then Mayweather should take a stab at Martinez at 154 and Pac should have his pick of the up and comers at 140.

Mayweather should be in the lead to fight Martinez at 154 because he's closer to that weight than Manny, but manny has compete at 154 before unless we now want to call his time there a fraud.

Secondly, I dont see Pac facing a non-Arum fighter, I dont see him fighting Bradley at 140-147 unless Bradley (If he beats Khan) signs for Arum..

mosley was the one who was begging to get the fight and is the one who proposed the catchweight, not pacquiao.

Well he beat an untested 147 lbs for a title that non really earned, but honestly i wouldn't consider Pac a jmw simply cause he could barely walk into the ring that night as a ww, he was what 144 at the weigh-in?

Sadly you are right though, it's politics more then anything else that's keeping Pacquiao from fighting the best, but there's only so much fans can take of Pac being fed home grown TR fighter who don't stand a chance.

So essentially, the bottom line is that they didn't make the fight for whatever reason when it was the best fight to be made. So the idea that he's fighting Mosley last because Floyd has been in the division longer is BS.

look at the de la hoya and hatton fight. floyd fought them when pacquiao was around 130-135 and floyd was already competing as a welterweight. well, no **** he's gonna fight them first. pacquiao is not even in that weight class yet.

now, those "leftovers" stuck around welterweight. and manny climbed the weight, chances are he's gonna fight a few of them. that, plus he fought clottey, cotto, and margarito.

i agree with pacs side on this one but doing the mayweather leftover thing is not good.pacs fights are with weight drained,shot,and old big names.it does'nt matter that pac is small.if you reduce these shot and old guys abilities they can be beat.mayweather beat them at their championship weight.

fighting a left over? what is this non-sense all about? what if you have fighter A who beat fighter B; and A wants to fight C who was previously ko'd by B - using the left over non-sense, is it 100% certain A will beat C? i don't think so...

yes, there were fighters more deserving than clottey and fights that i would have preferred. but its not as bad as some people make it out to be considering some where arguing that clottey beat cotto, and was pacquiao's debut fight at the 147 limit after the de lohoya side show fight. not really one of his great wins but it is what it is.

i wanted the margarito for the entertainment.
